Less Doing – Optimize, Automate, and Outsource

LessDoing.com started in early 2011 as a blog of productivity hacks. It quickly developed into a framework for optimizing, automating, and outsourcing everything in people’s personal and professional lives. The blog covers everything from email management to fitness and helps make everything in life easier. I encourage you to check out the blog and subscribe to the RSS FeedNewsletter, and Podcast.

I based the system  on nine fundamental principles:

Achievement Architecture – Be More Effective at Everything

I offer productivity and wellness coaching, working with individuals to reach their personal and professional goals. Essentially I can work with you to analyze your goals, figure out appropriate milestones, plan and execute using the right tools and techniques and make you more effective in any arena. I am a problem solver. See my TED talk on overcoming a seemingly insurmountable problem. I have worked with clients to:

  • Take a startup from idea to reality with barebones resources
  • Overcome chronic illness, sleeping less, and other bio-hacking
  • Go from running a 9.5 minute mile to a 7 minute mile in 60 days with no more than 20 minutes of daily exercise
  • Go completely paperless, reclaim your inbox, get back your time
  • Outsource everything from virtual assistants and web developers to private investigators and composers

I also offer corporate workshops to help make teams communicate and produce more effectively.

Skillshare Classes

For several months now I have taught classes in New York City through Skillshare on The Art of Less Doing. Every few weeks I teach students the nine fundamentals of the framework as well as go over students individual challenges. If you can’t make it to one of my New York City classes, I now offer my course online through Udemy.

eBook Series

My first eBook in the Less Doing series is The Definitive Guide to Working with a Virtual Assistant. The book takes you step by step through the process of hiring a virtual assistant and effectively communicating with them. It also offers a list of over one hundred common tasks virtual assistants can help you with. My second eBook is The Guide to Improving Speed During Your Workout. You can download this eBook and watch for more at my Amazon.com author page.

Virtual Assistants

For on demand assistants, see my blog post about how to use an on demand assistant as if they were your very own dedicated executive assistant. I believe that on demand services like these can deal with 99% of the tasks you might think of outsourcing.

If you need a dedicated assistant, after years of testing different outsourcing services, I found what I consider  the best team of virtual assistants anywhere. With Zirtual you can get started with your own virtual assistant for less than $200/month.

For tasks that need real world assistance and can’t be done remotely, check out TaskRabbit for anything from laundry to shopping, to getting your car washed.
